Resumes

In this challenging job market a resume needs to do more than just list your biographical information.  After personally interviewing hundreds of job applicants, I can assure you that most resumes are too long, poorly written and lacking the type of information that will get you hired.  Don’t make rookie mistakes on such an important document.

RESUME REVIEW ($125):  This package is the right choice if you have a working resume that needs some improvements and refinements.  You will need to provide me with a draft of your current resume.  We will then schedule a 60-minute orientation phone call to discuss your background, professional interests and current career goals.  With this information, my objective will be to make significantly enhancements that improve all aspects of your resume.  If I don’t think I can make that type of improvement, I’ll tell you and there will be no charge.

FROM THE FOUNDATION UP Package ($200):  If you’re struggling to get started and you don’t have a draft of your resume, this is the package for you.  It includes an hour long orientation phone call with a detailed discussion of your biography, professional interests and current career goals.  Using this information I will prepare a draft resume which will be provided for your review.  At this point, I may request an additional phone conversation before the final documents are created.  With this information, my objective will be to provide you with a solid resume that effectively and professionally communicates your accomplishments, work history and education.


TAILORED VERSIONS ($25 each): As a supplement to the packages above, I will develop additional resumes that are uniquely customized for a specific position.  This will be essential if you are pursuing jobs in several fields or interviewing both internally and externally.

COVER LETTER for a SPECIFIC POSITION ($35 each):  As a supplement to the resume packages, I will produce a cover letter for a specific job posting.  By hiring me to help you can avoid the most common cover letter mistakes and submit a cover letter that include company specific research with language that is customized to create interest in your application.


COMPREHENSIVE COVER LETTER PACKAGE ($75):  If you would like a cover letter package developed that provides you with the content to create cover letters for a wide variety of positions, this is the right choice for you.  This package is not specific to an individual position, but will provide you with all of the necesary resources to quickly and easily pull together a cover letter for any position you are interested in pursuing.
